Many girls are forced into early marriage. Education saves lives. Hear our story.

As the Kitenga Girls Secondary School in Tanzania proudly sees its very first class graduate in December 2020, this short film by Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) amplifies the voices of some of the world’s most deserving, yet marginalized girls. From being at risk to female genital mutilation and early marriage, these girls are today the powerful voices for a new generation of Tanzanian girls.

Girls Education Collaborative helps girls facing gender-based barriers transform their own lives through the power of education. You can follow them on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/thewholegirl/) and find out more about their work on http://www.gec.ngo

This film was created by Guillemette Dejean & Alexander Helmer.
