A Letter to our Patrons During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Real Women Real Stories.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we're truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

Second, at Real Women Real Stories, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, contractors, sub-contractors, families and communities.

All of our collaborators around the world have been strongly encouraged to work from home. With our highly-distributed workforce and many of our collaborators typically working remotely, this shift has been relatively smooth and we continue to deliver the highest levels of performance, availability, and of course content and short documentaries about women's lives.

The coronavirus has stunned the world and is taking its toll on every individual and organization, including our community’s nonprofit. To help respond to this unprecedented challenge, we ask you to consider expanding your patronage or invite your family and friends to become our patrons as well. The objective is to provide leadership and collaborative funding to support those women who face the greatest need and keep working on providing you, our followers and fans, with great and interesting contents through films, and of course to support our employees.

We have amazing teams and colleagues across Real Women Real Stories that are here for you. This moment reminds us that we’re all connected like never before. We’re called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding, compassion and help to one another.
