I had to share this with you.
Hello Folx! Tammy here.
This past week, I've been enjoying some time outdoors, soaking up a bit of the fresh air. It is so nice to be outside...without a parka on! I've enjoyed watching all the creatures coming out from their lairs, shaking off the winter doldrums.
This little guy was found in the yard after being dispatched from his nest. Still alive when he was found, my (dog) niece kindly brought this little one - who was quickly named "Rocky" - to my sister. Sadly, nothing could be done, but he was kept warm and comfortable until he was ready to cross the bridge to the hinterlands.
As the weather warms, and the flowers blossom and grow, I look forward to sharing more of what I see and hear. In the meantime, know that I am thinking of you all....the world's best fans!

That's beautiful ❤️
I'm so glad you all could keep the little buddy safe and warm for his transition.
Little friend felt warm, safe and loved in the final hours, this was the best anyone could do
Nature is a harsh mistress, we do what we can with what time (short or long) that we're allowed. *HUG*
it had a short life, but its end was being surrounded by compassion and kindness. sometimes the little things are the biggest gifts
Big hugs for giving the little guy comfort! Spring has sprung here. The flowers are up and kitten season has begun! We had a litter of 5 neonatal kittens and a mom with two day old kittens going out to foster Friday!
Poor little guy. Glad you were able to at least give him some comfort in the end.
