message: TERFs minds would be changed if transfems would simply: - reassure them that we're totally men, not one of those ~pretenders, dishonestly disguised as women - make ourselves available romantically, manic pixie dream girl, ultra available to launder her "self esteem" issue (hint: she is not a poor meowmeow with helplessly internalized misogyny, she's on a rightwing pipeline that scapegoats trans women) this is honestly pretty disappointing. the ~egg~ thing gets you a lot of transfem attention + hype in certain spaces, but this is a really weird way to portray somebody with a genuine, organized, hateful anti-feminist ideology as just needing to meet an exceptionally kind and willing minority to show her that not /all/ ""moids in disguise"" are ~like that~. idk, your personal identity has nothing to do with this: as an artist you can't just recreate the "misogynist falls in love with a girl and realizes women are people too" thing with a TERF and a femboy. It's hurtful and, more importantly, lame. Said with love
Hi, Callie. I’m confused by your comment. I don’t believe the female character in this comic is a TERF. She is a misandrist, but she does not voice any opinion either way on transgender people. She doesn’t like the femininely-dressed man because he is a man. It would be different if he was a transwoman or maybe even nonbinary person, but he identifies as a man.

For the past several months, I have been in the process of exploring my gender and figuring out whether I’m a trans woman. This comic makes me feel emotions that I cannot quite explain.
