Apple Pencil tips vs unofficial brand
Thought I’d do a comparison video of the official apple replacement tips vs Meko which is a cheaper alternative that is popular on Amazon. Hope it’s helpful 😊

Mine unscrews as well
How do you know when it time to replace the tips? I draw a lot and have had the same tip for over a year. The only issue I’ve had is that it keeps unscrewing when I’m drawing, especially when making tapping brush strokes
If you try to tap a button within procreate sometimes it won’t respond unless you angle the pencil, that’s how I know
Would using an off brand tip affect the warranty though? Not sure how they would know unless you sent it back with the non Apple tip on it. Probably be wise to put the old Apple tip back on before submitting it for a claim.
Depends what’s broken about it and if it’s related to the use of off brand tips
I have been using these MJKOR [2021 New] Soft Paperfeel Damping Tips Replacement for Apple Pencil 1st Gen & 2nd Gen, Noise Reducing Pen Nibs for iPad Pro(2 PCS) on Amazon which are a softer tip to mimic a more paper feel rather than needing a paper like or matted screen protector. So far I like it. Been using since November. Feel can sometimes be a little different so I might try going back to the original and see if that’s better.
I actually just bought knock-offs and have been happy with them… interested to see your experience
Very helpful and informative!
Thanks James! I'm looking at buying some replacements and happened to stumble upon this video. It was helpful.
