James, truly a beautiful image and tutorial. I found this one exceedingly difficult. Trashed my first attempt and tried again. Second was much better. It’s incredible that you can see all those colors. I am partially colorblind so dark anything all blends together. But I enjoy the process and it helps pass time in retirement-especially in the winter months. Thanks again for sharing your time and talent.
I got stuck at the part where I need to smudge the reflection layer. When I choose the smudge tool after using the sift airbrush like in the video it does not behave like yours did. My bloomed layer did not distort in the same way it just look like I airbrushed over it with another color. What did I do wrong?
Hi Jeff it’s impossible for to know what might be the difference without looking over your shoulder whilst you watch it I’m very sorry. The smudge tool is quite subtle and I had to repeatedly go over and over the area to shift it. The bloom will respond differently depending on what you’ve painted too. Maybe check the opacity is accurate for the smudge and check the bloom setting on the sliders matches mine too.
Tried. . had some trouble with the wawes. Then again I have never painted in digital before so it was fun to try something new!! Thank you. :)
Will give it a go tomorrow, thank you!
Awesome 😊
This is one I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait!
Well thank you for your patience then 😊🙏
I still want to paint last week’s painting but this is stunning. Thank you! 😍
Haha well you have options now 😊
