I've always have used a screen protector, for scratching purposes. I like the slick glide of the movement that my protector gives. In fact I didn't know it changed the colors because I thought they were clear.
Hi James. I noticed you鈥檝e stuck with the pen tips even though you stated in this review you likely won鈥檛 continue to use them. Have you changed your recommendation? Are they providing a better tactile feel? Thanks
I just bought the tips, the company had great customer relations. They owe JJulier a stock option.
Hi, new guy here. So what would the verdict be on a screen protector? I just bought my first iPad+pencil and I鈥檓 not sure whether I should put a paper like screen on it. Open to any suggestions! :)
I鈥檇 try drawing without it. See how it goes first. I like the feel of drawing on the paper like 2. I don鈥檛 like a softer tip so the covers would ruin the feel for me I think.
I鈥檝e had the same paper like 2 for about one year. No issues. No dust. No peeling. Hasn鈥檛 hurt my pencil nib. Worth every penny. You get what you pay for.
Yes I鈥檝e been wondering about paper like. Thank you all
Thanks for this review- very interesting concept. I noticed you said you aren鈥檛 using a screen protector, however at one point you were using paper like - is there a reason you stopped? I started with paper like because of your review - well actually paper like 2 which does a much better job at keeping clear resolution, though it鈥檚 not perfect.
It eventually started coming away at the edges and gathering dust and it annoyed me so I removed it. I did enjoy the drawing experience though and it disguised the little scratches lol. I may well order more
This was really useful. I have a bad tremor so I am always looking for solutions to stop the Apple Pencil skidding and I haven鈥檛 been 100% happy with the matte protector, so this is definitely an option to try. Thanks for posting! 馃槉
Hi Donna, I also have hand tremors since age 10. I got the Paperlike and it wasn't much better, I tried the Bleikteir Tips from Amazon and they are amazing. I tried the PenTip ones and found them too much friction. The Bleiktier do wear out very fast though. Edit, I still use the Tips with the Paperlike.
