Ok it’s been a while since I asked everyone what kind of tutorials you’d like to see, so let me know here and I’ll see what I am capable of 😊

I like the juxtaposition of nature and structure. I wonder if we can wander a bit into more of your super hero icon type images

I am trying to understand Patreon. How many creations per month are there for James Julier?

I'd love to see more beach and ocean scenes!

I suggested this earlier but dont see it posted, so i apologize if this is a duplicate post. How about pet portraits? I hear they are much in demand.

Like I already wrote in another comment: I really enjoy doing recreations from your landscape tutorials. I was just wondering if you could also make a tutorial of a more abstract image -kind of the piece of work you shared for your 100k subscribers. Would love that!

I would be very interested in a beach scene with sun setting, thanks and keep up the excellent work.

Thank you Ian

I agree with those above. Maybe do a Game of Thrones themed one? Seeing the last season is just around the corner.

Nice idea!

I agree with those above! I would really like some fantasy landscape and creatures! I have loved all your tutorials so far and look forward against next one.

Thank you Jens!

I love the landscapes! I think fantasy inspired landscapes would be cool. Maybe a distant structure like a castle. I’d also like to learn how to suggest far off creatures like deer. Detailed foreground vegetation would be neat as well. I hope you’re getting on well. Take care!

Thank you Matthew great idea

I'd like to see animals drawn. With fur, scales, etc.. Is that what you can do? In combination with landscapes or underwater worlds

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

Great ideas thanks Chris

I would appreciate fundamental exercises I can use to incrementally improve (e.g. Lines, circles, proportions). Fundamentals and hacks. ...” Should I use cross hatching from the shoulder to build confident straight lines?”

Thanks Joe!

What about a skyline of a major city?

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

I’m more nature inspired Paul, but I might be able to find something that works for me. Thank you!

I love your tutorials now. Would love to see you take one and show us the types of details you add to make it a "final" piece. You could just focus on a certain area and really get into the details...or come out with a series of tutorials that focus on "textures" or "lighting" or "atmosphere"...these would delve deep into the details that go into a final piece....maybe it's a 3 or 4 part tutorial, finishing with a final piece.

Great ideas thanks Andy!

Hi James, I would love to see underwater scenes and how to get the water effect, waves/beach, northern lights. like the rough sea idea above too

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

Great suggestions thanks Bev!

Could you do something around character creation possibly? Although I appreciate its not normally the sort of art you do on the channel.

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

It’s definitely something I could have a think about, thanks Simon.

Seashore, Lighthouse, dunes, waves, shorebirds, palm trees. Any or all... :-)

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

Thanks Jared!

Hi James, I really enjoyed your texture spheres, so perhaps a few exploring different metallic surfaces, from rusty to polished chrome would be fab. For landscapes, I'd love to see a seascape with rougher seas, and some crashing on rocks if you can stretch to that :-)

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

Thanks Piers, yeah I’d like to do more texture spheres, they don’t seem to do well on my channel, but maybe I could make the A’s exclusive content here for patrons

P
Paul Finch · February 27, 2019

If you could do a tutorial on a large scale battle scene. Would be fantastic.

J
James Julier · February 27, 2019

Wow Paul go easy on me haha I’m not if I’m up to that task!! 😆
