The First Video Game
Here's a question for you: what was the first ever video game?
A question which I always thought lacked a satisfactory answer. This video is my attempt to find one - or at least a reason for the difficulty in answering.

Hi I'm doing a paper on video games and would like to use your video as a source, but I can't find your sources if you have them still that would be awesome but it's a 4 year old video so I understand if you don't. Thank you for your amazing videos they are the best video essays on you tube
I teach documentary work at high school. Wondering what my students reaction would be if I showed them this, and asked how many man hours would be required for them to make something as advanced;)
Just impressive. Insightfull beyond words.
Absolutely amazing! The quality, depth of knowledge, and presentation style is unmatched. Thank you for the fascinating journey into a question I occasionally wondered but never committed to investigating. This is why I subscribed and why I will gladly continue to do so.
This is one of your greatest works yet! I have been watching your videos for three years now and this video finally convinced me to directly support you and your channel through Patreon :)
This (and the recent fact of some more disposable income) got me to finally join your Patreon. Great work!
Incredible work as ever. This is better than many TV/Film documentaries. You're also blessed with a wonderful voice for narration. Bravo. Absolutely worth an ongoing subscription
