I am currently at a very Chinese point in my life (04/28/26)
Hey, y'all!
I've been on my beta tester shit and I am DYING. The game looks pretty and some scenes are cute, but I am 🤏THIS CLOSE🤏 to crashing out cos every time you fix a typo or change a line in Ren'Py, the sound channels restart, so I've been hearing the same 10 seconds of the same song for hours on end. I can't just mute it either because a big part of my testing process is the sound design or whatever, so I just gotta meditate and pretend I'm a Buddhist and drill the fact that life is temporary into my brain, so I should just live in the moment.
I am not my thoughts, and I am not my emotions.
Anyway, as for the numbers, we're at 4,400 images and 157 animations, no clue what the word count is, but just take whatever the last count was and add at least 3 more words.
That's about it for this week.
Stay safe,
ily<3
