v0.37.1 Game Status: Midgame
Evening all, it's midmonth update time, and v0.37.1 is now up for patrons!
This update focuses on setting up the midgame, with the second debriefing from Admiral Octo now in the game (along with an optional smutty followup). My main focus for this update was new BDSM-themed gear for the procedural 'romance' scenes. Unfortunately it appears I overestimated how much work the me of two years ago had done on them back when I was doing the rest of the procedural stuff, and I ended up having to spend a few more days on it than I was expecting. They're nearly complete, but still need a bit more debugging and testing before they'll be accessible. In the meanwhile, if you buy the new gear from the quartermaster now, it'll be ready for your use in the next update. This update also includes a number of fixes for reported issues.
Once the new gear's done, the next thing on my list will be the Tier 4 ships. They'll be much like the Tier 3s, with there being one for each career branch, but they'll be larger with more room for your space waifus/husbandos/etc. After that I'll be starting on a rework for the romance stuff, including a method for supporting group activities, however I expect that to take into next month to complete.
One other note - while it's always been around, the past few days on itch.io have been particularly bad with spam bots posting links in game comment sections. I probably don't need to tell you this, but do not click random links in comments.

New BDSM shopping scenes added to the Quartermaster's office, unlocked following the Admiral's second debriefing (and removed after purchasing all items). Items not yet available for actual use.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue with Tier 2 'Science' type bridge compartments which would prevent assigning bridge crew.
Fixed an issue which was causing Roth recruits to be twice as likely when using randomized crew generation.
Corrected shapeshifter character editing to show the proper uniform color for the player's career branch.
Corrected the number of Lt requisition credits rewarded in Admiral Octo's first debriefing scene if the 'general' reward option is chosen.
