v0.36.1 Game Status: Peer-Reviewed Science
Evening all, it's mid-month update time, and v0.36.1 is now up for patrons!
This update focuses heavily on the conclusion of the Schen faction content. The faction 'takeover' arc is complete with some smutty science to tie it off, and the upgraded faction shop will then become available with the option to take a few lizard scientists home with you afterwards.
We also have our first contribution from a new artist, Arco! While Carnal Voyages uses handmade art for all of the key stuff (CGs, portraits, etc), you may have noticed that it does use AI-generated artwork for less important backgrounds. There is, frankly, too many locations and scenes to possibly do hand-drawn art for every background even if the project had triple the budget. Arco will be helping us however by updating as many backgrounds as we can get to, and we're starting off with a new background for the Seeder observatory location!
The next update will be focusing on the Happee, giving them the same finishing touches which the Schen just received. I've also recently got in some new Admiral Octo artwork which will be going into the next update. Which reminds me, we're probably due for another HD art pack update in the near future. Post-Takeover version of Schen faction shop added. Includes options for direct purchase of Schen and R&D crew requisitions.
