Poll Results & Save File Update 🌿
Hello, simmers!
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote in all the polls I posted across my socials, IG, X, Tumblr, my IG group channel, YouTube, Patreon… basically everywhere!
And well… Windenburg won.
Not just on one platform. Not just by a little.
Windenburg won almost on every single platform 😱
However, I also want to apologize because, honestly, when I originally put Windenburg on the list of worlds I could work on for the spooky-season version of my save, I didn’t think it through properly. 😭
Windenburg is a huge project. With 27 lots, it would be impossible for me to start it now and complete it to the standard I want in such a short amount of time. I don’t want to rush through it just because I gave myself an unrealistic deadline, especially when Windenburg is such a beautiful and important world.
And because of that, I’ve decided to change the plan for the next version of the save.
🎃 The next version will focus on:
Forgotten Hollow + Moonwood Mill 🦇🌙
These two worlds fit the spooky-season theme much better, and they’ll allow me to actually give each lot the attention and detail it deserves rather than trying to squeeze an enormous project into a deadline that simply isn’t realistic.
🌿 And Windenburg?
Windenburg is officially next. 💚
Since it won so overwhelmingly across every platform, I absolutely want to make it just not rushed.
Realistically, I’m looking at a mid Dec/Jan 2027 release for Windenburg.
I know that might be disappointing for those of you who were really hoping to see it in the next update, and I’m sorry for changing the plan after asking you to vote. But I genuinely think it’s better to be honest about what I can realistically accomplish rather than promise Windenburg for spooky season and end up with a rushed or unfinished world.
If I started Windenburg right now, I simply wouldn’t be able to properly complete 27 lots in the amount of time I have. And I’d much rather take the time to do it right.
Windenburg deserves that. ❤️
So the current plan is:
🎃 Next version: Forgotten Hollow + Moonwood Mill
🌿 After that: Windenburg
📅 Windenburg release: Most likely 2027
Thank you again for voting, for being patient with me, and most importantly, for caring so much about this save. Seeing Windenburg win every single poll honestly made me very happy and I promise I’m not ignoring that result.

I was watching your livestream on youtube last night and I have a suggestion for the last lot in Forgotten Hollow! :) How about a town center built as a custom venue, where you have all kinds of different things to do? Like a small café, a mayor's office, library, a bar or lounge, grocery store, clothing store and/or costume shop for Halloween, cinema, maybe a small basement bowling alley and a basement nightclub? I know the lots are small, but I got the idea from this rather old video, and I was amazed at how much she fit into just one lot in Forgotten Hollow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HggJFhTkwVU It would fit the vibe of being in a small town if you have to go to the same town center every time you want to do something. It fits both the idea of Forgotten Hollow being a small town residential, but also fits the idea of a place for tourists to come for Halloween - they would have lots to do in the town center. If it's set as a custom venue, we can have the sims do different activities at different times of day. You are so good at building multifunctional lots, so I would be very excited to see how you would do a small town center! I love your builds!

But, does this mean you will make Windenburg Christmas themed with a December/January release? :( I play in Windenburg all year round; it's my favorite world, and I would like to play in it with your savefile. But I would not want all the lots and off-lot decorations to be all Christmas-themed in Windenburg :(
No, the world won t be Christmas themed! Maybe i ll just add a Christmas tree in the attic of a house or something!
For a realistic save I always wanted these 'spooky worlds' to be like theme parks (without rides) that my sims could vacation to. So, Forgotten Hollow is a themed vacation word where my sims can go to a vampire restaurant, go to a retail lot and purchase souvenirs, etc. I can't wait to see what you do with them.
Take your time, there's no reason to rush it! I can't absolutely wait to see what you do with Forgotten Hollow and Moonwood Mill. Most importantly, Windenburg which a lot of creators don't tackle that world too much because of the size. Still can't wait to see the final results of everything.
