Friends, I come to you this Monday morning with an update I saw coming, but maybe not this soon (or abrupt). I've been working literally night and day to get my Kickstarter ready for launch next week, and in the middle of that, Tinyview admin announces they're ceasing operations. I switched from Tapas to Tinyview back in March with offers of better pay and more stability. Well... that lasted less than six months. Heh. So now I face a big financial shortfall in the coming months. Unfortuantely, I'm so god damn busy with the Kickstarter that there isn't much I can do about it in the short-term. Needless to say, I'm pretty STRESSED at the moment.
My mid-to-long term goal was to transition to complete independence and focus entirely on my Patreon, merch, and smaller projects. This is the worst possible time for me to start the transition, but what choice do I have? Thanks to all of your incredible support, this isn't a total disaster. Seriously, thank you so fucking much y'all. And, unlike Tinyview, Patreon isn't going anywhere.
So let's just focus on making this the best damn Kickstarter campaign we've ever seen, and after it wraps up, we build the best damn Patreon the world has ever seen. More comics, more secret panels, more streams, more animations, more everything. No more redirecting people to other sites. No more diverting my time and energy to prop up other people's platforms. All of my attention can return to where it all began. Right here, on Patreon. Officially the home for all things Mr. Lovenstein.

Thank you, ML. Absolutely no need to tip me. You'll have plenty of good shit to spend your money on during the Kickstarter. I'll also mourn the loss of Tinyview. They were the only platform that actually cared about my style of comic, and paid their artists very well. Our Eggs & Ben run on Tinyview is one of my proudest works.

This was something told to us internally a day or two ago. I have no idea when they'll announce it publicly. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I'm hoping they'll at least let us finish out the month.
