What's happening next

Hello everyone,

Update v0.64 will soon be free for everyone, and brings another character their relationship level 6 scene. But I'm already planning out the next update!

For those of you who have been around for a very long time - firstly, thank you! But also, you may remember way back when I released update v0.55, it had a little more focus on technical aspects. It was my intention that each v0.X5 update be similar, adding new features.

At the time, I had a poll of the things I had planned for people to vote on what they wanted to see first (you can read about the options here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/plans-for-next-74225031), with the intention of adding the other options in the future.

Since that time, I've actually added almost all the other options already! There's only one left from the original list: optional minigames.

So, I'm going to give that a go! I've been enjoying expanding my coding horizons a little, so it'll be a nice challenge for me.

There will be a minigame for working in the library, and for working in the cafe. Importantly, these minigames will be short and optional. You can still work in those locations the same as now, but you will have the option to play a little game for some extra money.

That aside, this update will still include new scenes. Currently I'm planning to add Madelline's next scene - she's the only side character left who hasn't had a new scene since launch, which was nearly three years ago now!

The other scene will be up for a vote. The options are likely to include film night with BFF and Ezri, and "tutoring" with Ezri and Scarlett. The other options I'm not sure about yet, so feel free to offer some suggestions!

The vote will likely go up once I've made some decent progress with Madelline's scene. In the mean time, I'll have some previews of the minigames soonish.
