Maids & Masters Strategy Guide - Appendices
This would be a page preview, but how the page looks in the table of contents will change as more of the rest of the table gets filled out, and they'll be the last thing I complete since I'm building the guide in page order. So instead of posting an unfinished page, I'll just tell you what I've got so far, and what each appendix will cover.
So far, the list is:
Appendix A - Maids, Affections Quests, and Mothers
Appendix B - Trophy Checklist and Big Dick's Estate
Appendix C - Detailed Enemy Stat Blocks
Appendix D - Uncommon Language Primer
Appendix E - Scene Checklist
Appendix F - Extras
Appendix A will cover the Maids, including their Estate Info entries telling you about the Maid (what she's able to equip, what her Theurgy is, combat synergies and strategies, and a big ol' profile picture), all of that Maid's Affection quests (since you can unlock and complete Affection quests at almost any time during the game, it's hard to find a place for them to fit into the guide proper alongside the main story), and similar (though obviously much simpler) entries for each of the mothers (where to find them and any special mechanics they have). If I end up with some extra space for each character, I might even include some extra fun info, like their likes/dislikes/hobbies, but that's not guaranteed to be there at this stage - mostly because I'm not sure if there'll be room without adding more pages, and I don't think that kind of info is substantial enough to justify adding a page, in depth or in amount (even if it would be fun).
Appendix B is pretty straightforward. It's a list of the trophies (and will likely include page references for where you can find them in the main guide, if not a quick overview of how you earn them), plus a more detailed overview of Big Dick's Estate. While you do want to visit Big Dick's as often as possible and at least that much is mentioned in the guide, what you do there is almost entirely centered on trophies, and not all of those events are immediately available. It makes more sense to me to put all of that information in one place rather than spending multiple pages talking about content you can't access in the moment.
Appendix C is also exactly what it says on the tin. It won't go over strategies, as those are covered every time you encounter a new enemy, but aside from the stat blocks that have already been shown in page previews, there's additional information about enemies that I might as well make available. Experience values, dropped items and drop rates, ailment immunities and hit/dodge/crit rates, and a full move list and frequency. Basically, everything the editor tells me when I look at an enemy on the back end.
Appendix D came from a suggestion, and makes for a relatively easy inclusion since I already have my own reference document on the Folk language, though it'll still take some editing to make it properly legible. I can't promise you'll actually be able to learn how to speak Uncommon using it, but you should at least be able to understand most NPCs using it.
Appendix E also mostly came from a suggestion. I'm actually still on the fence about including it, partially because I'm not totally sure how I want to include it, but I know there are a number of people out there who want to make sure they find all the lewds as badly as they want to make sure they're finding all the trophies, so it'll probably find its way in even if the information the appendix contains is kinda minimal or haphazard.
Appendix F is basically just an honorable mention for the April Fool's jokes (and I might talk for a bit about development on the VX Ace version(s) of the game), but I might put some other things in here if something worth including pops up.
You'll probably get page previews once I start working on these (or I might jump ahead and make a preview so I can keep posting page previews while I don't have a game in development and you'll get page previews early), but if you think I missed something (or included something that you don't think is important enough to be in there), let me know!

Hmm, I wonder who could've requested the language primer... These sections sound great, and I'm especially looking forward to the affection quest section since that was where I totally fell down in my last playthrough (I forgot to spam the Ambrose restaurant and just assumed the affection quests would eventually open until I beat the game). Can't think of other sections at the moment, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of the guide!
