Happy New Year!
I'm still mostly recharging after getting v0.19 finished during an unusually hectic holiday season, so this week I'm just going to take a moment to wish you a Happy New Year.
I know the insanity of the world hasn't slowed down for even a single moment, so wherever you are, I hope you're warm, and you're safe, and you're around people who care about you, and 2025 ends up being a great year for you.
As a super quick news update, Maids & Masters did join a New Years bundle (which is here, if you want to check it out).
Speaking of bundles, the winter mega-bundle still has a few days left on it, and I'm absolutely blown away by how well that has done. I don't expect to be breaking any of those records any time soon. There's all sorts of extra goodies you can go get there, even if you didn't contribute to the bundle.
Development on v0.20 hasn't quite started yet, but I've been organizing my notes on what needs to happen, so at least the introduction of Act 3 should go reasonably fast. I have no idea how the rest of it is going to go, because there are a lot of threads that I need to gather and bring together (in both the narrative and game mechanics) to get the rest of this story out.
I'm still watching for any bug reports, and a handful of things have already been reported and fixed, so thank you to those that have brought those things to my attention. If you find something, please let me know.
This upcoming Tuesday will be the 2024 year in review on the dev blog, if that's something you want to read.
Then we'll see where things go for v0.20 test builds and other Patreon-related things. I might do a poll about v0.19 to see if there's anything I might've missed or that doesn't make a ton of sense, because there's a lot of exposition that just kinda got dumped there. Then maybe a lore post or another render poll. We'll have to see where things land.
Anyway, one last time - Happy New Year! Here's to 2025.
