The State of the Game
first and foremost, sorry I been awayI had to put my dog down Super Bowl Sunday and that’s one of the things I been dealing with over the past month. I was completely crushed and tbh still am as I type this lil blerb. I apologize for my lack of activity over the past 6 weeks. I’m slowly trying to get back into the swing of things but now look at this busted ass game smh
Yall they are really shitting in my wheaties with all this bullshit they keep doing.
now there’s a patch that has basically broke the games ability to see the mods in your folder (I’m summarizing/paraphrasing)
It affects everyone and any mod. It’s unclear why it’s breaking. They said “we’re working on it blah blah” so who know how long that will be.
I have discord people doing self care testing. I can upload it but I don’t know if it’ll work for people that updated. I don’t plan to update btw But I’m also seeing people with updates off coming to ea app and it updated so we all still at risk smh
TBH it sounds like we might be cooked until they fix it probably in two weeks smh it gets annoying all these damn patches I swear! Then we all gotta scramble to make sure shit still works smh but that’s the price we pay for using mods I guess 😭

I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been 2 years since I had to do the same with my dog and I still cry missing him. I swear it is worse than losing my parents.
It is difficult and when you think you’re doing okay something hits you and takes you two steps back. It definitely is harder than I expected
Aaaw I knew it had to be something. The only issue I saw with your mods was the skincare mod. I just took the ![QMB]SelfCare_Skin_Face.package out and left everything else in. I really don't think it is your mod. I think it is more Wicked perversions related but it would not stop throwing LE. Rght now I am playing offline because I am not doing their updates until it works again. I am enjoying my haircare etc still LOL.
Can someone provide a link listing the status (i.e. mod versions) of QMbibis mods? I'm one of those super disenfranchised Simmers who disabled Steam from ever updating the game. I'm officially stopping at game version 1.121 (before this cancerous last update designed to permanantly break non Marketplace mods. As I'm no longer tolerating any future vanilla "optimization" updates for the game beyond the 1.121 game build. Is there a list QMbibi has on here showing the mod versions are currently on Patreon? While I didn't upload my game, I'm getting BE exceptions for the Skin Care mod. So may have missed a final mod update for this mod for the 1.121 build before this EA broke ass mod update >,<
QMbibi pls take all the time you need to get yourself emotionally ready and healthy. The psychosomatic stress that IRL is currently taxing ppl with in this FUBAR economy--nvm the added grief from the average Simmer entitltement mentailty on social media--is crazy enough. Take the time to get refreshed and get your groove back. And pick up where you left off once you feel rested enough.

I’m so sorry about the loss of your dog. I went through that in 2021 and it changed me forever. I know you stated that you already took a break and I hope you don’t feel rushed to return. Thank you boo he was 10.5 but had some stuff going on we didn’t learn about until the er vet when he was lethargic. Couldn’t risk surgery he wouldn’t of made it had to let him go 😭😭 I’m offline too and I’m disconnecting from WiFi to be safe they not getting me dammit!! LMAOO
