January Newsletter

Was inspired by a friend to make this, haha. Seems like a good way to get news out!

Happy New Year everyone! 2026 I think is going to be a big one.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for your support on Muted Volume 1 and 2, I'm hoping to get good news about the rest of the series soon. I'm going to be pitching hard to get the rest of the series published.

I have given all of my signed copies to White Squirrel (my distributor) along with the pins that I designed last January so those will finally be up on my sale this month, I hope. Just waiting on photos. And when I do that there will be a pretty big sale to go with it. And hopefully it will be a bit cheaper than some international options? I've been hearing a lot of issues around international shipping from Amazon in particular. There is like.. 25-30 copies of each version so it is limited but there ya go.

A majority of my work right now is still on Layout Design, where I am taking friends WT's and turning them into print versions. I have a lot of contracts lined up for that but I'm trying my best to balance those projects with my own personal projects. Obviously with the goal to maintain the College AU and the Prequel Comic with those posts coming out near the end of every month.

In more personal news! I have been working on my health a lot the last few months and it is going well. My goal for this year is to be able to participate in a 5k again like I did a few years back. It's been a huge relief to be able to not have pain that makes it so I can't even walk around the grocery store. It's still a work in progress but a HUGE change from where I was when I went to SDCC and it took me 2 hours to walk a distance that should have been 20 minutes because I had to keep pausing, haha.

Oh! In other personal news, in September we got a new dog :) Chase was working as a vet assistant and did an amputation surgery on a 7 month old pitbull and the foster she was with said she was going to be up for adoption after the surgery healed so we took her! She is very energetic but that has been good for Commander and getting her more active and socialized! She's very smart and sweet and she's amazingly good in the car. I've never had a dog that was so good with car rides, she just curls up and goes to sleep immediately, haha. (Also her original name was Nini but we changed it to Nana lol!)

Are you guys resolution people? You guys have any goals you're strivin' for or are you just chillin and survivin'?

Also here is a picture of Nana :)
