Sweet Affection Poll
As mentioned in last weekend progress report, here is the poll regarding Suzie's content in the MC's home location.
This poll will be open for everyone to vote on.
However, the votes of our supporters will have more weight.
Now, what is this poll exactly about for people who missed the progress report of the past couple of weeks.
It is all about me implementing events for Suzie in the MC home location.
(I am not talking about content in Suzie's own apartment.)
Throughout the year I received numerous messages from people that are worried that other side-characters are not getting enough development time.
(Something that I 100% agree with.)
And that it's not "fair" that I do spend multiple updates on Suzie.
And adding Suzie events to the home location where she can spend time with the MC, Sarah and Shannon.
That would require an additional update for me to work on.
(Not only once, but also for the last 2 levels for Sarah and Shannon that come after this.)
I asked if people were alright with perhaps me scrapping that idea entirely but
it became pretty clear that people really want that content.
But at the same time you don't want me to ignore side-characters.
So, I ended up coming with 2 options.
Option 1:
I will be postponing Suzie's Home content until I am done with her entire story and the retroactively putting that content in the game.
(This also means waiting until Sarah and Shannon their story is completely finished because their stories and finale will be connected.)
Meaning, that content won't be implemented for quite some time.
Her normal story events (Suzie's Apartment) will be continued to be developed.
Option 2:
I will "simply" push back January's planned update (Level Up Sarah & Shannon) to February.
I will implement Suzie's home content in January alongside new content for Lucy or Claire.
(Some of these events will feature Sarah and Shannon.)
And I will do the same for E2 and E3, spending 1 additional update on Suzie's content while also updating a side-character.
My own personal preference would be Option 2.
Partly because it will guarantee that the flow of the game stays the same.
But also going back to older levels and changing mechanics always poses a small risk in breaking events/mechanics.
Especially with a game of this size.
However, in the end I am fine with either options and I will follow what the majority votes on. :)
This poll will remain active for 2 weeks.
I will be back this Sunday with the next progress report. :)
Thank you to everyone that ends up voting on this poll.
I appreciate your input.
If you have other thoughts or suggestions, please feel free to leave them under this post!
