Where am I from or where am I REALLY from?

I live in Ottawa, Canada, but I do not identify as Canadian. I am Omushkego-Eeyou Cree tied to the lands of Eeyou Istchee and Mushkegowuk territories in what is now known as Quebec and Ontario along the coast of James Bay. Many Indigenous nations refer to North America as Turtle Island, if you look at the shape of North America. And it aligns with some of our creation stories - the Haudenosaunee have a creation story about Sky Woman and Turtle Island. Just a little cultural knowledge for ya Frank :)

Massachusetts - but my mother was British, and we lived in England for a period during my childhood.
Born & schooled in Manchester UK, spent most of my adult life in Wales UK. Relocated in my late 40's to start afresh in Maine USA & began my art journey in Oils, graphite and pastels a few later, at the grand young age of 50. That said, I am making tentative plans, to move back to the UK or maybe Italy or France. If it was just myself, I would have left already, but I have a wonderful husband, two adult stepsons, a wonderful daughter in law, two adorable grandsons and two puppies that mean the world to me.
