Cleaning out Patrons
Once again, I've went through and deleted all the patrons who've been signed up for the last several months and have not contributed even once. To clarify: if you've donated even $1, you are not included in this list. Doing so has lowered the displayed earnings on the front page by an alarming amount and reveals that in fact I never actually met my two most recent goals (that's okay, I've been working on Ponyvania, among many other things, anyways).
Certain people sign up for Patreon, sometimes $2, sometimes $20 or more, but then enter bogus payment information. This allows them to see hidden 'pay-walled' content on Patreon. Since I don't -have- any pay-walled content, all it really does is artificially inflate the number you see on the Patreon site. Just wanted to give all you a heads up on why my support has dropped so much all of a sudden.

I think a lot of people don't realize how time consuming this stuff is on its own. A lot of these patreon content creators are one man shows, and when your only source of feedback comes through the same group of people that berate you for failing to maintain a constant stream of updates, the responsibility of remaining transparent about said update progress can be discouraging and very taxing. Not to mention that these guys likely have other responsibilities to tend to as well, so it's almost always going to be a situation where the artist creates a deadline for themselves but fails to account for a good amount of their time having to be devoted to other things and things get pushed back. I often get the vibe that some people on here assume that this is their full-time job and that's simply not the case.

Soooo 2 months later and aside from the announcement that people were scamming content via patreon no updates?
Are we gonna have a end of Sept update or piece of content?
All the fluff adds up, huh? Ah well, maybe this will encourage new legit Patrons as they can see that they still can help reach the goals! Would also be nice to know what you're working on these days, since August was dead silent from you.
Also, on the subject of milestone goals, was Miaka ever updated? Because that goal was reached a while ago...

Some do, but it happens at all donation amounts.

Dagnabbit, was hoping that at least half of those added payments weren't bogus, I wanted to see the updates for both ponyvania and three curious ponies.
this patreon abuse is getting out of control, they need to seriously start charging people as soon as they make a pledge or something.
Or have it give only partial access until your first payment goes through.
