After a long silence...

Hello everyone.

It's not easy for me to write these things. I'm not sure how to begin, so I'll start from the beginning of the long silence.

It was a time of COVID, and you all know how much we suffered during those situations. During those long months, Italy, my country, was one of the first countries to push people to stay at home at all costs. This meant we needed official permission and documents in our pockets, ready to be shown to the police. Useless to tell you all the difficulties to keep working and do all the business you need to keep doing in your life. You know all of this.

Things changed more when I met the most important person in my life. My love. My future wife. This is, of course, a super positive thing. The light of my life! So, due to COVID restrictions, we decided, still in our first months of our love story, to live together, with all the risks you can imagine. We were still strangers after all. This meant going to a new house with all the things you can imagine when you literally change your life. Before her, I was still living with my parents. I was working for a disabled, elderly woman in a wheelchair. I still work for her and I'm doing three night shifts every week. The lady lives close to my parents' home, but I was living in a different and far part of the city. The computer to work on 'Angelica Origins' was with my parents, and it was not easy to bring it to the new house: I started to lose a lot of free time and comfort to work.

So, covid, new girlfriend, new house, less free time, one thing goes to another. Add to all these things that the lady I'm working for had an accident. She broke her shoulder and arm. She had to stay in bed for months. Here again, it's useless to explain all the difficulties I had. I had to help my parents, too. And... I had to keep living the story with my new girlfriend, too.

How much free time do you think I had during that time?

Almost nothing.

PS: I never give up on my project, even if you don't believe it. I never "stopped" working on Angelica. I can tell you all the things I did during these years, despite having almost no free time.

Oh, I'm learning Ren'Py and I'm very happy about the new things I'm learning. I have many ideas to come back stronger than before.
