Game engine
Hey guys, wanted to show an update. I decided to stick with flash for now since as it turned out gamemaker did not have the ability to impot video, and working with spites was a problem for complex animation.
So intead i spent this month learning AS3/javascript and built this engine for the game.
It allows dynamic text, shifting of name field depending on input, sliding in/out of scene for visuals, adaptive frame movement via name frames (which was always super annoying to me since if i had something on frame 50, and i needed to move it, i had to go back in code and manually set the frame to new, but now instead it uses a label and can be moved at will anywhere), dialogue that i can change color/lenght without needing to manually enter it on frames and instead just load the defined, and more!
The flutter game here i decided to have an intro part as set up and then the flutershy area (and each of mane 6 has their own "day").
So they will for now be their own flas so that i don't have a broken disjointed game that keeps needing to be updated to have stories, but instead their own mini visual stories. However if people like these mini stories/animation of the porn scenes then I can potentially create a larger game that encapsulates these stories and add more (something like pokehiddens banned from equestria daily).

Also, the dialogue has type writer sounds (although i just have it as toriels voice for testing), it can be toggled.

Good to see that the fruits of your labor are starting to pay off. Looking forward to seeing how all of it looks like in game. As for the type writing SFX, hopefully that can be changed to something else. Never did like it from other games.
It can be toggled on/off. Not sure whether the default should be on/off for it though!

I would love to play a game like pokehiddens, maybe even better. I bet if you do decide to do such a feat it would be incredible, fun and also kinky :P

Gonna admit,I was very grumpy about the fact that there is not a lot of "content" (and by that I mean games) caoming out; But turns out I was just being an ass since you were spending time learning skills . Getting more and more hyped about this game!
Yea, sorry about that. Alas, if anyone cares to build a visual novel/animated porn game themselves later i could post my fla with the engine that they can adapt, it works for both my classic style of games and the visual novel style story telling (or you can add on the walking around parts/minigames with more code).
