A Major Change
Hey everyone, this is obviously going to be a difficult post for me to write. That said, if you know me I want to be as open and transparent as I can.
So let’s cut right to the heart of the matter. After nearly four years I will no longer be doing Podcasts with the GigaBoots Podcast Network. Additionally, my final appearance on Big Think Dimension will this Thursday [8/18] LIVE on http://twitch.tv/GigaBoots
Yeah, so this will probably come as a shock to some of you, hell its something everyone in the Podcast network including myself have been wrestling with for a bit since we finalized the decision. I have lived through many break-ups in terms of content groups, media companies, ect. So I’ll be using this post to lay everything out there for my supporters.
The fact of the matter is simple I guess. The Podcasts take up a lot of time for me personally. Hours upon hours of recording, editing, and of course prep time depending on what's going on. I guess I've become complacent. As a result, I feel like I'm not putting 100% into it. I'd rather not drag down our content or be a weak link. So I've made the split.
-So you’re no longer apart of GB Podcasts, who hates who?
Nobody hates anyone. This isn’t like other break-ups you’ve seen from other groups. No one is unfollowing anyone or will be doing subtweets about anything. This is a mutual decision and everyone still likes everybody.
The idea of GBPodcasts ie. some of my Best Friends taking a hit in terms of audience/earnings with my absence is something I desperately want to avoid. I love these guys. I’ve worked with them multiple times a week for 4 years alongside late-nights where we just hang out, play games. I even lived with Dan for the better part of a year.
Because we’re content creators that have been apart of fans live for literally years I know its difficult for the audience to not chat or gossip. With that said I want everyone to be respectful to everyone. I don’t want any of that toxic parasocial shit. I do not want any disrespect to be thrown toward my friends just because I am not working with them anymore. Please be kind and understanding. Full Stop.
-What about other content you were involved in?
Here’s some good news. In 2-3 months when the newest DB Movie - “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” arrives on VOD I’ll likely be returning to host an episode on that. Which makes sense, I hosted that show, and have told the crew I am open to returning for that! But aside from that, you will not hear me in any GBPN content past this week’s Big Think Dimension LIVE. We did not record a new Chugging Bleach so Episode 26 is my last appearance there.
How are you doing though? Are you holding up okay?
I’m doing okay. This was a tough thing to walk away from. We started discussing doing a KH3 podcast back in October of 2018 and our chemistry made us really want to capitalize on it and thus Big Think Dimension and the legion of other shows in the GBPN were born. This has been a thing that has dominated my life for nearly four years. I have loved basically every second of it. Its allowed me to grow closer with my co-hosts, meet new people, and of course, have the opportunity to live out on my own without the safety net of family.
Of course the next phase of my life will be challenging. I’m essentially stepping away from what was my most consistently biggest source of income month-to-month which in itself is scary. I’m gonna adapt though. I have some ideas creatively I want to try in the future now that I alot more time free’d up but for the short term I’m gonna be streaming more. Producing more highlight content alongside my Supercut Editor, G. And I’ll of course appreciating any support here on Patreon.
For the first time since late 2018. My career online is solely dictated by me. I’m flying solo again. I hope people will be happy with continuing to support me and ideally, more people will join me on this journey.
Okay let’s wrap things up and summarize!
So I’ll be leaving the GigaBoots Podcast Network and my final appearance as a member of the main crew will be Big Think Dimension LIVE on Thursday [8/18]. I will at least return to do Mondo Cool: Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero when it releases on BluRay and VOD. Aside from that, my time with them is done.
Please consider supporting me via Patreon or Twitch if you want to help keep me afloat. My normal content shall stay the same, you might even see new things later down the line. I would also like to close by saying to please be respectful toward my former co-hosts at GBPN and support their Patreon, Streams, and Podcasts as well.
I love them, I love what we built, and I love you.
Talk to you again, soon.

good luck with this change and into the future, and thanks for the years on the podcast. I'll absolutely continue to support all of you in the future
Hey KZ, hope you're all doing well. Will absolutely support yourself and GB in the future, no worries there!
I discovered you and your content via my girlfriend when she was looking for walkthroughs on Devil Survivor, and it was then through you how I later found Gigaboots and became and instant fan, especially during the pandemic. I will miss the incredible dynamic you and everyone on GBPN had, but I will always cherish the content you've all created together up to now, and I will continue to support both you and them going forward. Best of luck to you, KZ!
Been following you since you did P4 and will still be supporting you until the end man, glad you and the boys can stay friends and can't wait to basically see the last mondo cool in the future
GB won't be the same without you but I'll continue to support both parties. Best of luck to you!
Good luck on the change and thanks for all the hard work you've put in to make the GB podcast years so great. Shame though that you'll no longer be able to go to bat for AI Nirvana with Feel in GOTY 2022
This is a shame to hear but best wishes going forward!
Big Think Dimension has been one of my go-to things for the past three years, and it wouldn't have been anywhere near what it was without everyone involved in that. Seeing you leave will definitely impact the GBPN going forward, but for whatever it's worth, I'm glad you were able to be a part of that for the time that you were.
While this news is a bit saddening change is part of life. I’ve been a fan of GBPN and you since like 2020. So best luck to you and the entire crew on whatever comes next.
Just became a patreon to help support you during these times. Thank you for the laughs you always brought in any content you participate in. I'm excited to watch more of your streams.
Best of Luck to you with your future endeavours.
I've followed you guys since GBPN first came to be, and it has given me plenty of laughs in hard times. I'm not gonna name favouritism, but your absence on the podcasts will definitely be missed. However, I am extremely excited to see what's next from you in the future, whether it be more streaming or future projects. Best of luck and all the love in the world dude! <3
Man either my English is shit or I am not catching on the subtext but I didn't understand the reason behind this decision. Is it the "rock band is breaking up because one of the lead guitarists want to have a solo career" type of situation? I guess it's just hard for me to grasp the situation, considering there is no bad blood between you, you loved making content with the boys and you had good income together. But hey I only watch your streams regularly so nothing major is gonna change for me personaly lol
I've updated the post to be a bit more clear near the front. Apologies. I am very sensitive to people trying to grasp additional meaning behind why these things happen so I wasn't hyper-clear on it.
Though this news saddens me I understand there is a time when things need to move on. We only have so much time, and often we need to give something up in order to grow. I wish the best for you, Feel, Bob, and Dan.
Nothing but the best wishes on this new chapter in your life KZ
