📢 A Few Announcements... and a New POLL TIME: What makes you choose and subscribe to a sculptor on Patreon?
Hey, everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you're doing great!
I've got a few things to share with you today...
🔥 1) A new collaboration is coming!
Tomorrow I'll be announcing a brand-new collaboration with an amazing studio that has kindly agreed to share one of the standout models from their catalog with all of you!
I think you're going to love this one, so stay tuned for tomorrow's announcement! đź‘€
⚔️ 2) The second model of the month is... BIG.
I'm currently working on this month's second release, and all I can say for now is... it's going to be BIG.
It's a large and highly dynamic diorama, and I'm having an absolute blast working on it. I'll be sharing some previews very soon!
3) NEW POLL TIME!!!: What makes you choose and subscribe to a sculptor on Patreon?
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who participated in the previous poll. I absolutely loved reading your comments.
To be honest, I find these kinds of polls even more valuable than simply asking "What character should I sculpt next?" because someone will always end up disappointed. Instead, these discussions help me better understand what you enjoy collecting, printing, and displaying, and that's incredibly helpful when planning future projects.
Overall, the results were pretty much what I expected... but now I'd love to dig a little deeper.
👉 If you have a minute, please leave a comment and tell me more about your thoughts. Your detailed feedback is incredibly valuable to me and genuinely helps shape future releases.
Thanks again for being here, and I'll see you tomorrow with that collaboration announcement!

For me, the quality is alway the most important. You can probably find other examples, but are they as good as what you offer. Second is the unique spin you can put on a character that has been done before, either in pose or diorama. I also like series of models that can sit side by side. And finally, who you are as a person. Are you an artist or someone that looks to have a corparate outlook? For me, you hit all the important parts and that's why I support you. Please keep up the good work and can't wait to watch you grow.
Wow Jim!!!... thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It honestly means the world to me. It truly is incredibly motivating. That's exactly what I always strive for. I never want to make "just another version" of a character—I always try to create something that feels unique and worthy of adding to a collection And your last point really touched me. I always want this to feel like an artist sharing his passion with people who love these characters just as much as I do, not like a faceless company chasing numbers. Comments like yours remind me that staying true to that approach is the right path Thank you for your trust, your support, and your encouragement. I'll keep doing my very best, and I hope the future releases continue to exceed your expectations. I'm really excited to share everything I have planned!
first thing is which characters are this month, when the quantity\posing of the character. and is there good enough price to warrant get it or buying it individually later.
Honestly I'm tired of seeing the same characters over and over. I also appreciate when people do characters that are not just overly sexualized females. I look for models that are true to the characters
James! Yeah, I completely understand. And as a sculptor, I have to admit that sculpting your fifth Batman can get pretty tedious when you could be creating something much more unique. Unfortunately, when you do make a character that's outside the norm, it often feels like nobody pays much attention to it. I guess it's all about finding the right balance. And I completely agree with you about overly sexualized female statues. Of course, in comics and certain franchises, female characters are often portrayed in an idealized way—that's part of the source material. But taking that to the extreme just isn't my style, and it's something I consciously try to avoid in my work.
I subscribe to artist who do less overly done models/characters. I personally don’t care if a Patreon does as good as job or better on a character (like Batman or TMNT for example) that I already have a highly detailed and epic model for, I don’t need 2 of the same character on my desk or around my house. I’d rather sub to a Patreon who produced a 4/10 model of a character like anime Terra from Teen Titans or Zuko, before seeing another Broly model or Magneto, even though they’re my favorite character’s from those series.
this is awesome and your personal to talk too...any time I have a question or a problem or just to say hi you comment right back.....that means alot to me
Jason! Thank you, my friend! But honestly, getting the chance to connect with awesome people like you is a reward in itself. I truly appreciate your support and friendship!
I think quality and quantity go hand in hand to get my attention. I have 20 patreons I follow closely and subscribe to at least 10 per month, this being one of them. I like at the end of the month seeing I paid $20 but I have 3-4 models because of those 3-4 maybe 2 are something I actually like or want to print. You can't please everyone thats the tough part but more models released is more chances of pleasing more people. If you release 2 models a month and I only like 1 then I feel I am not getting my monies worth, so it depends on the lineup.
I disagree, I think Quality is far and away most important. I would rather pay 20$ for one model that looks incredible and its a model i want then an okay version that ill be replacing later with a couple others ill never print. The poll seems to agree with me.
