2nd model of the month reveal: Fan Art Kitana
I present to you my latest model: my fan art of Kitana – Princess of Edenia.
This piece had me completely obsessed these past few weeks. I wanted to capture that balance between elegance, sensuality, and fragility — contrasted with her strength and brutality. I hope I managed to pull it off.
Since I had already modeled the throne for Shao Kahn, I took the opportunity to modify and adapt it for this character, making some changes to serve the narrative I wanted this piece to tell.
The throne now has battle damage and symbolizes the defeat of evil (Shao Kahn). And who better to sit upon what used to be his throne and wear his cape than his adopted daughter — the very one he kidnapped after conquering her realm, killing her father, and enchanting her mother. Poetic, isn’t it?

Yeah haha, but don’t worry — for this part of the story, he’s doomed haha… at least for a while… At first, I thought about making a different throne, but then I figured — since Kitana’s and Shao Kahn’s stories are so intertwined, it made the most sense for them to share the same throne. And after all… isn’t that the whole point of Mortal Kombat? To see who ends up sitting there? haha… So yeah, I tweaked it a bit and added some candles… to give it a more feminine touch hahah
