Asking “what are you obsessing about” is risky when it’s someone who obsesses about stuff! I would have listened for another hour to learn more about Canada’s contribution to interwar aviation production. Or the Mosquito’s role in nighttime bombing raids. But I guess that would have been out-of-scope for UT.

For years, my biggest fear has been of a nuclear EMP pulse in space taking out satellites and crippling our communication systems and economic infrastructure, resulting in a rapid breakdown of society. A truly apocalyptic scenario. I believe Russia's provocation is directly in response to SpaceX helping Ukraine defend the Motherland by using Starlink. I believe Russia is just trying to up the ante and is indirectly threatening to take out the Starlink satellite constellation with utter disregard to the collateral damage this could cause to their own space assets or those of their allies. Hopefully this is a bluff

Kinda sad and kinda scary to hear all this. What an opportunity for humankind to start with a clean slate when it comes to space. More likely however they'll export the same old conflicts and fight about them on a - literally - higher level.
