Giant Forest Telescope // GO for LISA // Thoughts on YouTube Retirement
SLIM woke up but briefly., Turning a forest into a giant particle detector. Another explanation for that hycean world. And some stunning new pictures from Webb.

Hi Frazier, thx for the accessible and fun way you give us space facts each week. I have a question about perspective: what would you report about astronomy when you were on a planet in one of the earliest galaxies that we can observe (and that has enough heavy elements to produce life)? Would you report the same kind of observations about the universe as you do on earth now? What would you see and conclude on that planet when look in the direction of our own galaxy? And I guess there are two perspectives to that: when you are on that planet as we observe such distant galaxy on earth now (so for us in the past) or when you are there in ‘earth now’ time.
Question for question show: any new astronomy books you can recommend. I loved the little book of aliens and just finished white holes. What can you recommend next on my list? Thanks, Kate
