I'm currently going through The Supermassive Podcast. (By the way, thank you for the recommendation) In episode #5 (dated May 5, 2020), they mentioned the discovery of an exoplanet that is tidally locked. Can our technology really tell us if an exoplanet is tidally locked?
So why are type 1a supernovas so consistent? Isn’t everything individual to it’s particular situation, including when stars form, and so isn’t each star unique?
Janus: Dyson spheres are rubbish, I don't know why people believe they could be real. The aliens abandoned the thought after consulting a quantity surveyor. Moral: just because a great man has a crazy idea doesn't make it any less crazy.
