I'm going out on a limb here, and someone will probably shoot me down in a flame of embarrassment, but what if the Hubble constant... wasn't constant. Dr Sunny seemed to be hinting at that towards the end of the interview, with the step down hand gestures.
I'm going to have to watch this interview several times to try to begin to under stand the material. This one interview alone more than justifies my becoming a patron. Great choice of a person to interview and great job of conducting it.
Thank you for another thought provoking interview. It reminds me that the struggle to reconcile belief and theory with observations continues from the earliest times, when the heavens revolved around the Earth, to the present day. In the end it may be that the Universe is less perfect than our measurements.
