Risa: if the asteroid was made of anti-matter it might be worth bringing back if the safety problems could be overcome (unlikely). In a Flash Gordon future I imagine interstellar liners calling at the asteroid and stokers shovelling thousands of tonnes into the bunkers, which they'd need to reach the next star on time.
