A Clever Hack to Solve The Hubble Tension
There is a disagreement in measurements of the Hubble constant often referred to as The Crisis in Cosmology. One way to solve it is to observe redshift drift. However, it requires lengthy observations. But my guest, Dr Geraint Lewis, has a hack up his sleeve — gravitational lensing.

Another wonderful interview Fraser Two great communicators at work. Very interesting and reinforces the scientific methods. I wonder how we'll progress though in years to come when we have the multiple rungs of the distance ladder with astounding accuracy and minuscule error margins still at loggerheads.
2 of my favourite science communicators talking about Dark Energy. What's not to love. Once again - remember that the universe has always been much bigger than we thought 🤔
Another ace interview on another advanced but wholly interesting subject. For me, who has until recent years, only looked at the front stage of cosmology etc., these interviews and other stuff you put out are now allowing me to go back stage and see how the 'play' is formed and what its objectives are. For this I am hugely grateful.
Fraser, I have pondered black holes for a long time. As a previous popularizer of astronomy as Director of 4 different planetariums I've been asked about black holes and the origin of the universe many times. I have written a three-page opinion piece. I know you have interviewed many folks who are experts. I would like someone to read my hypothesis to see if there is any value. Could you suggest someone? I would be happy to forward the article to you if requested. Mickey Schmidt
This topic was really well explained and at a level that was spot on for me. The interview was really well structured building with the right level of background to allow me to understand the redshift drift theory and the basics of geriants paper . Great stuff - always love the interviews cheers
Your ability as an interviewer continues to impress. Another great choice of a subject to interview. I learn much each time. Thanks
