New Episode: The Search for Neutrinos. Catching These Elusive Particles in a Gigaton of Ice
In the pristine icy environment of Antarctica, there’s a telescope, embedded into an ancient glacier. The telescope is observing the Universe, directly through the Earth, using a cubic kilometer of ice to capture elusive particles called neutrinos.
These ghostlike particles are streaming from the Sun, coming from exploding stars millions of light-years away, gamma ray bursts, colliding neutron stars and black holes. And maybe, just maybe, it’s going to be the instrument that finds dark matter.

Note: We've been busy here with the launch of our new book so I couldn't even get outside and shoot this episode. I just recorded audio for it. It turns out, that's actually fine. We might do audio only for future episodes of the Guide to Space. And then actually shoot the QA episodes and live shows.

This was an awesome episode. One of your highest quality episodes in awhile 🔥🌎🚀. Are you coming out with any new videos soon, Fraser? I often find myself re-listening or rewatching guide to space episodes because I’m such a huge fan of them.
Excellent! Thank you.
