Hi Fraser, I have a question. All the other planetary moons have a name like Triton or Phobos, but I don’t remember anyone calling our moon anything but the moon. Does earths moon have a name? Thanks in advance. CuriousJim
It's Luna in Latin, Mond in 🇩🇪, Moon in 🇬🇧, Ay in 🇹🇷...Moon is the name of our satellite. 🤔 I wonder what colloquial umbrella term we would use for other planet's satellites if Terra would have rwo satellites orbiting it. I used "Terra" because it feels more like a planet's name than "earth" just like "Luna" feels more like a name for a celestial body than "moon". And it feels also cool to use "Terra". I always get a Sci-Fi feeling as if it's one planet among a couple of habitable and reachable planets.
Ah, Fraser! Yes Batteries Not Included IS about little self-repairing (and self replicating) robots! Please, watch the movie again -- preferably with young children! It is a wonderfully pleasant experience, Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy are delightful, and I believe it is so much more than you remember....
Wow that sounds amazing to watch
