Do we go through same places in the Milky Way every rotation? How should we celebrate the first contact? Will artificial magnetosphere help creating an atmosphere on Mars? And in Q&A+, how much does YouTube really pay for views.
00:00 Intro
00:27 [@JamesMcIntosh-r7j] Will an artificial magnetosphere help retain Mars' atmosphere?
03:36 [@1000dots] Wouldn't that cut off heat and light from the sun too?
04:20 [@emilianolaneri] Does the Earth always follow the same path through on the milky way?
07:07 [@sciencecompliance235] How should we celebrate the first contact?
11:16 [@drewd2] How old is the Universe if you include pre-big bang?
14:13 [@JohnnyApplleseed] How much does 3M views pay?

No interview yet señor
Do you think we will ever accomplish single stage to orbit? What energy density would it require? Does our ability to reuse stages make ssto any less attractive? Thanks. I’ve been following since pre-pandemic. I don’t even remember how long. One more: Is it possible for those stars orbiting the Milky Way’s black hole to have planets? Or would they be ejected?
The NIAC awardee interviews are the best!!!
That solar sail for mars would block the solar wind but not the light, as light travels much faster than the solar wind. Blocking both would require two sails in different positions.
Hi
I can thoroughly recommend anyone who hasn’t spoken to Fraser during an interview, to request one. Fraser is very easy to talk to and where I was worried about not having anything to say, in the event it was hard to shut up! It really is a nice touch. I don’t know any other channel that does this, apart from Mentour Pilot who has Zoom meetings if you pay a high enough level on Patreon. It’s only 15 minutes, but I guarantee it’ll be an enriching experience - he’s a really nice person. It took me 4 tries because I seem to be useless at working out time zones but I’m glad we succeeded. It’s also your chance to influence the channel content if there’s an important point you want to make personally.
The Big Bang happened, therefore, surely, time must have existed for it to happen, and it must have existed before the BB. Maybe time is the one property that is common to all Universes, inconstant though it might be.
Perhaps "time" in od of itself, isn't a "thing" but human concept. If so, existence or non-existance - or experience of time would be dependant on the existence humans with an appropriate intellect and understanding of the concept of time. Spacetime, as described by Einstein, doesn't need humans to exist. It is quite feasible that Spacetime didn't exist before the Big Bang event and arise as a consequence of the Big Bang.
I keep thinking of Issac Asimov and The Last Question....😉
It's a really good story. I was young when I first read it, and it gave me a headache. Arthur C. Clarke's Nine Billion Names of God was the other one that gave me the creeps when I was a child.
Atmosfera on Mars is already lost and thre is no sorce of gases to create new one
