The Cohesive Object Sequence graph is quite neat. Thanks for reporting on that. The paper even explains some of the interesting transition zones and effects visible in the graph. A nice way to explore. I love it how your (and your teams) videos and articles make it really easy to end up in the sources / papers. Very much appreciated! From munching on breakfast with light entertainment to reading a paper on arxiv in less than 5 minutes. :D

My wife really digs your blue beard.🤣

Little red dots could be so re shifted that all the other evidence has been shifted down into radio bands, and there is no telescope on earth that is large enough at radio waves to be able to discriminate this energy, as the beam width of the antenna is so much larger than the apparent diameter of the object, so you are swamped by other sources. The red likely is X ray radiation, nothing lower visible in visible or IR, red shifted past observation other than in long length, for astronomy, radio waves. Probably to get an idea you would have to have an antenna dozens of kilometers long, sitting in one of the Lagrange points, and this would have to be able to resolve the signal with enough and directionality enough to bring it out of the thermal noise. Though putting one in orbit would be hard, as you would need to put a 20km long rigid structure out into orbit, and have directors and reflectors on it, probably a massive log periodic antenna, as that can cover large swathes of the EM spectrum from 100kHz to 1GHz, with a very narrow beam. You would probably be splitting the receiver up into lots of smaller sections, and having a section corresponding to it, and making overall dimensions smaller, as you can stck the smaller ones into the longest wavelength antenna structure with almost no reduction in beam width. would probably need to around L2, so it can be cooled easily, but as abonus shiny reflective metallised parts can do double duty as a reflector as well, so the active outward pointing part can be at close to 3K as possible, with all the LNA sections needing passive cooling as well.
Do you absolutely need a single rigid structure? Many endeavors that seem to require this actually work at least as well with interferometry (sometimes better since you can make the baseline so large).
Are Kuiper Belt occultations something we expect to get from Vera Rubin?
