Wow, small telescopes have come a long way from the Edmund Scientific "red ball' scope I started with 30 years ago.
Very sorry. I’m 80 and on very little income,my son takes care of me so I can’t contribute, but thx for being able to watch free.👍👍🙌🙏🏽
I, and I’m sure many of Fraser’s supporters, are happy to help anyone who has retained their curiosity and desire to learn. Enjoy!
I hope it doesn’t get *too* close. It’s such an amazing subject! How on earth they can line up an interceptor but not put it in danger of crashing into the object is amazing!
I wonder if ESA's Comet Interceptor will be able to deploy a cube sat to take up orbit around the interstellar visitor? The main probe has to do a flyby due to its momentum, but perhaps a tiny cube sat could be ejected backwards with sufficient force to stay behind?
Wow, the interstellar interceptor project sounds so cool! Crossing fingers hard, as can't already wait to see it actually intercept what's getting built for, and then see all the data and articles coming out after.
We’ll probably not get anything from outside the solar system for ages now!
