[Space Bites+] Destroying Asteroid YR4 // Bummer for Hycean Worlds // Water on Ryugu
Should we destroy asteroid 2024 YR4 instead of letting it hit the moon? Why Hycean worlds probably don't exist. Liquid water once flowed on asteroid Ryugu. Space bytes+ a supermassive black hole that is breaking the Eddington limit.

Damn, save our satellites from damage or have the mother of all moon crash/meteor shower parties for months….mmmmm decisions, decisions. I know, space stations and people…but. 🤔
Your interviews are a treasure. I love the niacs a lot
Thank you learned a lot as always, and as a non-scientist who just has a love for the Field space, exploration and developments to help better the human race I want to say thank you. I absolutely love the interviews!!!
Not to come across as pedantic but wouldn’t exoplanets be subject to stellar wind and not solar wind? Since Sol refers to our star, it seems that solar wind might be the same? But then I’m arguing with myself if I refer to a “solar system” for planets going around a star other than ours. I guess everyday language is still catching up with scientific findings. Wondering about other opinions.
There's the Moon, and then moons. There's the Sun, and then suns. The Earth and other earths. There's the Solar System and then other solar systems, etc. So it's pretty interchangeable.
The algorithm has a prayer "Our algorithm, Who art in cyberspace, Hal be thy name......."
Im planning on upgrading my membership. I love your shows- they're addictive.
If I upgrade to $3/mo do you still do video hellos/chars with new subscribers?
Yes! You talking to the people who do the research and getting it into language non-specialists can understand is important. And those who complain about you having a channel focused on educating the public on these topics should be happy people get to be one of the 10,000 (a la xkcd) that learn the same things on any given day.
