[Q&A+] Showstopper for Mars Missions, Vera Rubin vs Aliens, Space Whales | Q&A 351
Which is a bigger showstopper for a human Mars mission: food or radiation exposure? Does Vera Rubin leave any chance for aliens to still sneak upon us? Can something like space whales actually exist? And in Q&A+, when can we find out what dark matter and dark energy actually are?

Making Stuff Up That's where we are at. We see it. We cannot explain it.
If false vacuum decay does occur in our universe and expands outward in all directions at the speed of light, wouldn’t it remain localized to within its own cosmological horizon due to accelerated expansion? Also, if it occurs more than once and they are within each others horizons what happens when the expanding fronts meet?
You have one of the most clutch jobs ever... and you're darned good at it. I particularly appreciate your advocacy/ helpfulness with respect to other folks getting involved in it. Thanks, Fraser.
I loved Star Trek as a kid in the 70s but even back then it made me laugh that no matter how badly the Enterprise was damaged, it never lost its artificial gravity. Kinda like the joke about building planes with what those black boxes are made of. 🤓
Artificial gravity, you forgot to mention magnetic boots. If the actors are shuffling about like zombies it's the boots!
I'm a patron and I'm apologising before I go on. I just listened to the above Q&A and at the end Fraser. said that he put a link "on my channel" to the next Q&A. I've looked all around, but can't find it. I've listened to all the YouTubes for years but never attended a Q&A live and thought I should attend at least one!

Always makes me chuckle that $100bn is considered a lot of money for such grand endeavours when the world spends double that on pet food per year. And the UK was going to spend that and probably triple on a railway line that made getting to London 15 mins faster.
Are you suggesting no one feed their pets for a year? Improving infrastructure has a payback. But I get your point. I would starve my pet to help us get to mars 🤫
