Hey tree, I heard you. Keep it up.
A Skyhook wouldn't be that hard everybody thinks space is a million miles away when it's actually only a couple hundred miles up the trouble is you have to build it from the top down

to this topic of peeps getting offended by your avatar thumbnail: some peeps just don't have humor 🤷🏼♂️ don't let them ruin your day! i loved it and had a great chuckle 😊 oh and a q&a that came to my mind when you spoke about black holes feeding: are there "planetary" systems (or rather stars orbiting) around black holes, that are stable? or are all stars that come close to a black hole destined to fall into it sooner or later?
umm, thinking about it, we with our sun also orbit the center of the milky way and so also sagitarius a, makes us a satellite of it... but i mean the ones that are close
I Click on your channel cause it’s reliable and interesting. I have no idea what the thumbnails say or show. Keep being you Fraser and team!!
Thanks ever so much for the simple and understandable explanation of what a Blazar is. How cool!
Regarding the blue face, you should do a story about little green men and go green, or for a proper esoteric joke, go deep space nine and be Odo as a german shepard! Even people reading this will be thinking "What? DS9, little green men, Odo as a german shepherd? What? I don't get it"
Hi Fraser, I love your channel and the way you make astronomy easy for people to understand. I had a question about NASA’s gravitational lensing graphic of light around a galaxy (around 13:15 in this video). In the annotated image here: https://prnt.sc/kr8QEPFLf9vk it looks like there’s a galaxy at the green circle, but the upper light ray seems to suggest another galaxy near the red circle (slightly offset to the top-right quadrant). I realize this may just be the way the light paths are drawn, but it can be confusing for beginners who might think the diagram shows multiple galaxies rather than one lensed source. Could you clarify how to read that graphic? I think your insight would really help me and other beginners. Thanks, Rob
I thought the blue head was funny! I surely didn't click it because of the blue head, but the quality content you guys are coming up with!
I look for your site to avoid click bate I LOVE your site
So glad that you brought Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen into the mix! One of my favorite videos of all time! Remember this is the internet so people are going to complain. We are base level organisms, rarely capable of elocution and easily triggered to finger pointing and whining. Keep on keeping on!
Blue Man scoop! 🖖
What does "Earth like" mean? It's vague and really shouldn't be used to describe exoplanets based on a single pixel. They're just rocks.
Fraser, do us a solid and troll the trolls please. Go Navi for a full episode and don’t even acknowledge it. Like zero explanation. Anyway, you’re a target because you’re the real deal. Excellent work sir!
I also thought the Navi Fraser was hilarious~~ not even a hint of being clickbait! It's sad to see that so many people are just looking for an excuse to be offended.
I thought Blue Fraser was fantastic. Keep nerding out. I don't think any of your videos have been click bait.
Never stop being weird.
For the Click bait thing... I figure you might get more complaints than many channels just because people do watch you because you are informed and data driven. So, when you play around it might look a little juvenal to the people that are only there for the science. Me I like the science but it is also an entertainment thing for me as well. I love the fun Thumbnails. I do find that it is sometimes harder for me to find you videos because of it. For a long time you and several people I follow on You Tube had very formatted thumbnails that were very distinct so they caught my eye because I was looking for them. Then when you change I might not see it for the same reason. All I really wanted to say was I Enjoy when Anton gets playful. As I said I come as much for the entertainment as I do for the science. I am even reading the Culture series based on your recommendation. It is so definitively NOT clickbait. Clickbait is a LIE, or a title that has nothing to do with what it is actually about. Being playful with the pictures is just fun, and will draw people that might not have come to your channel in the first place. I honestly don't remember how I ended up on your channel but I am glad that I did. Keep up the fantastic work!
I enjoy being entertained and happen to have thought that was funny, but it is simply unfair to any content creator to complain about "clickbait" when so much hinges on simply getting people to click on that thumbnail. It doesn't matter anyway. Anyone upset enough about the "clickbait" to leave the channel wasn't going to stick around anyway.
Man I've been missing out on space bites+ but I'm here now!
Hadn't see the all the blue kerfuffle, Thanks for showing it at the end! I like that you have fun!
Regarding 3I/Atlas, why do we automatically assume it came from a star system? Could it not have formed from material that never had enough mass to form a full-on star? The fact it's off-gassing so much material suggests to me it may have never gotten very close to a strong heat source or barely did long, long ago before falling into the Sun's gravity well. is this not another valid explanation instead of coming from a system with low metallicity?
I think this series of thoughts works?… We accept the Universe started with only H, He, (teeny tiny Li?). This object is detected outgassing Water (H2O). It would need to get created in a stellar system where heavier elements are circling and condensing in the proto-planetary disc, wouldn’t it? That’s the reasoning I believe would apply.
