[Q&A+] End of Expansion of the Universe, Hypervelocity Stars, Retrograde Planets | Q&A 340
Do we predictions when will the Universe stop its expansion? Did we find hypervelocity stars in M31? What does it mean when planets go retrograde? And in Q&A+ could the Big Bang be a white hole?

15:42 I believe We live in a black hole. And the black holes we see are part of the multiverse. But that does not make it true.
I wouldn't assert that the universe will keep expanding despite the acceleration. Just conclude that it appears to be and have been since the Big Bang.
Snowy? In Vancouver in Aug? 😅
I don't fully agree with your explanation of "retrograde". Sure, a planet might appear to go backwards, but planets (non in our solar system), moons (a few from Jupiter and Saturn), and asteroids can be on a retrograde orbit or such objects could turn retrograde around their axis (like Venus). You know, nothing like astrology but instead real and interesting astronomy to explain. When most "stuff" is turning in one direction, it is worth to acknowledged the few thinks that are turning in the opposite direction.
The creator of the universe - god. Not scientifically supported.
Everyone knows that Purple Holes are where everything started.😁
Not only can one-third of humanity NOT see the Milky Way, I suspect that MOST of the people living today will go through life without EVER seeing the Milky Way with their own eyes. I find this profoundly dismaying. There are plenty of dark sky locations in West Virginia, where I live, and there is nothing quite so awesome as seeing not only the Milky Way, but the dust lanes therein.
Yeah, the prevention from seeing the cosmos should be considered a crime against humanity. I'm only half-joking. More seriously, though, there should be publicly accessible trusts that fund trips to dark sky areas.
"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move." Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the end of the world
The first and last questions highlight the fundamental problem in cosmology: there is no external reference outside of our universe. We cannot see other universes in different stages of evolution for comparison, we are stuck inside our own universe where it appears that distant objects are all moving away. So trying to answer how it started and will end is, at best, just educated guesswork.
As far as I know Tycho Brahe did not propose elliptical orbits for the planets. In fact, he was very much a proponent of the Earth-centric idea. I guess you mean Kepler who used Tycho’s observations to prove the heliocentric theory. Not until Tycho’s death though since Tycho refused to give him access to the full dataset.
As always, so excited to see your success.
