[Q&A+] Lasers VS Space Junk, Missions Overdelivering, Asteroids Already Mined | Q&A 322
Which space mission would I save from cancellation if I could? Is fighting space junk with lasers a good idea or not? What if we find asteroids that have already been mined? And in our Q&A+ on patreon, how do we measure masses of black holes ? Answering all these questions and more in this Q&A show.

Totally agree with your approach to watching Youtube, most of the content is total dross subscribing allows you to keep hold of the jewels you find. Great content as always 👍
Hello Frazier. Thank you for all you do. Been a fan for 20 years... starting with Astronomy Cast. Question: Does the gravity well of a star have a relativistic affect on the flow of time inside the star? Asked a different way... is time running at a significantly different rate inside a star than we observe from our vantage point outside the gravity well? Would that mean that the actual life of a star is shorter than we observe?
Question : about the laser "space broom", wouldn't it possible to put satellites in relatively low Earth orbit and deviate the highest junk by pushing them away of the Earth orbit with lasers? If yes : wouldn't installing these lasers on the mega-constellations like Starlink be the economic way to do it?
Whoop! I like the timing when I get the email notification after my work meeting so I can listen intently as I organize the spreadsheets .. Good stuff Fraser, thank you :) .
I hardly ever watch a YouTube video on my phone. I have a desktop PC connected to my TV, and I watch YouTube videos in Chrome. While I subscribe to channels I am interested in, I also bookmark the videos tab for that channel. That way, I can always go and look for my favorite creator's video. The Algorithm can't control me!!! That said, I mostly just watch the videos that show up on my home page. lol
Lasers in space? I can imagine Putin reaching for the existential crisis button.
