Love your updates and Q&A Fraser
I just watched Cleo Abram's interview about black holes with Dr. Brian Cox and, there's a question that always pops into my head everytime I hear about falling through its event horizon of a supermassive black hole and couldn't tell when cross it. If your eyes were only a few centimeters from the event horizon, and you where to extend your arm through it, wouldn't it dissapear even though the speed/gravity gradient is very little ? If the speed of light is always the same for every observer, shouldn't it be true even there ?
