Question: A recent paper suggests that the entire Universe may be 'spinning' and that may account for the Hubble Tension. If the entire Universe is spinning, wouldn't that imply that there is a 'center' of the Universe that it is spinning around?
Question for you FC: If the graphite on Earth is the carbon deposit from fito plankton… and that lubrication embedded deep within the mantle is the only reason tectonic plates can slide over each other and make mountains….. could mountain ranges be a great indicator for life on other worlds, even if it’s only simple fito plankton? Can we detect topography from interstellar distances yet?
Interviewing the Vera Rubin director? You're going to be like a 7 year old on Christmas Eve for days beforehand. My condolences to your family. lol
China is an authoritarian state, which means big decisions are made by a few very powerful people; there’s no messy democracy to stall big projects. But China’s big projects happen without regard to human rights; if a few million people suffer for the good of the Party, that’s okay. I’m just afraid that the US is heading in the same direction, just with a plutocracy, with just a few billionaires making the big decisions, regardless of the rest of our human rights. I read a lot of science fiction, and I want to point out that the vast majority of future science fiction also features authoritarian regimes running things while the masses suffer for the benefit of the rich elites. We *need* more visions of the future that are positive democracies in which everyone is able to self-actualize and nobody is exploited. Maybe (hopefully?) Musk will take all the rich and selfish leeches with him to Mars and the rest of us will find a way to live more humanely with each other.
Did I miss something ? Lotta Asteroid and it’s scaring the heck outta me, lol

Anywhere. Here, youtube, bluesky, or skywriting over his house. The last one would probably freak him out, though
