[Space Bites+] Revolutionary Mercury Mission Concept // Dust Shield for the Moon // First Crewed Polar Mission
Webb discovers auroras on Neptune, and measures the exact size of Asteroid 2024 YR4, the first Private Mission to carry humans on a polar orbit, a mission that could reach and explore Mercury using only a solar sail. And in our bonus story on Patreon, what would it take to build a sample return mission to Io?

Was there any reason to assume Neptune wouldn't have auroras?
Nope, they just hadn't been observed yet.
Can't wait for more Andor. We finally got Star Wars for adults that wasn't fan service.
Would u ever make a secondary ai slop channel. Have someone mass produce it, load it with ads. At least u can make sure its factual, refer to your real channel for facts and generate a little extra income for your hard working team.
I really like the by-line tags you have added to the audible story links to the web site -- nice touch!
I feel like I opened a Zelda chest when the bonus segment started playing...
I'm stoked for Andor as well! It'll be such a treat to watch that. :)
Omg andor - SO GOOD.
Hi Fraser. Great episode of "Space Bites" as usual. I was especially fascinated by the proposed solar sail mission to Mercury. I understand your enthusiasm about solar sails in general, but I didn't quite understand their maneuverability. The way you explained it in terms of orbital mechanics made it a bit more clear.
Oh hey! I worked on that.
