[Space Bites+] Possible Solution for Hubble Tension // Weird Rock Found on Mars // Space Tornadoes

Long-chain hydrocarbons found on Mars, has dark energy been decreasing over time? A completely flat telescope lens, the center of the Milky Way contains a star grinder. And in our free version on Patreon, a new theory for the formation of Mercury.

Can you or someone explain, particles popping in and out of existence? I was always taught, you cannot create or destroy matter, only convert it from one to the other.

Ok, Dark Energy questions: 1) is the expansion of the universe creating "new" space, or just stretching out existing space? If the latter, then the "density" of Dark Energy would be decreasing, thus its influence could be waning. {b} does Dark Energy have mass, via E=mc^2? Could this be slowig expansion? [iii] If Dark Energy acts as a pressure expanding the universe, could it be seen as acting on the surface of the universe which goes up as a square (N/m^2) while the actual amount (mass?) goes up as a cube (eV/m^3)?

I know it's almost certainly easily disprovable in a variety of ways (and I'm not suggesting that I even remotely consider it to be valid), but I think it'd be funny if the unusual observations of high-z galaxies were due to the universe being finite and of a size such that we're only just beginning to see wrap-around effects.

HI! I'd like to ask a question. Could you (re)make an explanation of the generations of stars? Two thing bother me : 1- I see the difference between 3rd and 1st generations, but what are 2nd generation stars? 2- Are there still 3rd generation stars forming (i.e. stars only made of hydrogen and helium) ? Same question for the 2nd generation.

Loving the direct call-outs to longer/deeper Universe Today articles and the writers. Haven’t really noticed them before but even if they are not new, great idea.
