I'm so happy you're only reporting the actually relevant milestones on SpaceX. I was worried you might change that after getting consistent popularity votes for it. But I signed up specifically to hear interesting space news, not the most popular one that's already reported everywhere.
I don’t even have the YT app on my devices anymore. And no longer visit their site. I get all my videos on Patreon, Nebula, CuriosityStream, TED, etc, etc. I am living an ad-free life which I also support directly so most money goes to the creators!
I saw this video because the algorithm recommended it only as a secondary reason & my phone also notified me because I am on Patreon as a non-paid member because I barely have enough money for food since I am on pension & disability permanently. Absolutely love your channel. You’re the best space news journalist ever. I strongly disagree with you and believe we are absolutely not alone in our Universe I respect your point of view. You’re one of my ultimate favourite Canadians 🇨🇦. You help me improve my communication just by listening to you. Keep up the good work.
0:22 To terraform unpleasant places with CO2 atmospheres into less unpleasant places with oxygen-rich atmospheres, we need to bioengineer photosynthetic thermophiles. 8:26 It's oxygen (O2) that is the fingerprint of large scale life. If we find exoplanets with oxygen atmospheres, it almost certainly means there's thriving life there. We can't detect O2 spectroscopically, but O2 + radiation produces ozone (O3), which we CAN hope to detect spectroscopically. So if you want to find life, look for ozone. 15:46 Once upon a time, when they were under different leadership, Google/YouTube/Alphabet had a unique corporate motto: "Don't be evil." That seems like a long time ago. Under the leadership of Sundar Pichai, they've apparently economized by dropping the first word. Thanks for pushing back, Fraser.
Wouldn't it be nice if AI could be used to tidy up U-Tube? Oh wait then there be virtually nothing left!
Don’t go changing. We all like you just the way you are.
Good for you! Stay being you! Don’t let the HAL9000 change you or what you do!! Reid Robinson
