At one point in the interview Jessica says "We make up so many theories" I definitely agree with that!
Every human being does this every day all day long. I hear people muse about how the last homeless person they walked past ended up that way. A theory. I hear kids in the back seat trade ideas about how the last traffic accident we passed occurred. More theories. Voters and politicians voicing why something has become a problem. Theories, theories, theories. The difference is that we (and they themselves) hold those in science accountable for their theories which they voice. If only everyone’s theories had to pass rigour before being repeated or passed on. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
