For future Q and A. I asked this once of Arno Wielders of Mars One in a live Q and A he did. Let's say Mars One folk get to Mars. They are on a one way trip. Then, a thousand KM away, SpaceX lands with their crew that are round trip. Will this start to create tension between teams/companies. Will a future civil war on Mars be between private companies with Martians wanting to just get back to Earth? Arno said no. What do you think?
WAIT! You kinda answer this right in the next vid! Which I just watched. Perhaps this interaction will be governed by space law. But perhaps this is the first stratification of Martian society. Those who can return to Earth and those who cannot?
Question for a future Q&A: How do we measure time? One of those nifty facts Einstein discovered in his Theory of Relativity is that the force of gravity affects time. After 3000 days in orbit, the time inside the ISS has been about one tenth of a second slower than the time down here on earth. If that's the case, how will we measure time when we start traveling long distances in space? Won't gravity very as you travel, therefor time can't be consistent?
